Interview & candidate assistants

A voice AI that reads a resume and runs a realistic mock interview with candid feedback — and helps interviewers walk in with a question plan instead of a blank page. Everything is processed in-session only and never stored.

The problem

Candidates walk into interviews underprepared — practice with a friend is not the same as being questioned under pressure. Interviewers walk in without a plan, improvising questions from a resume they skimmed five minutes earlier. And professional interview coaching is expensive, hard to schedule, and inconsistent from one coach to the next.

What the assistant does

Sample conversation

A shortened mock-interview exchange, so you can read what it feels like before trying it with a microphone.

Interview Assistant
Thanks for sharing your resume, Priya. I'll run this like a real backend interview — I'll push a bit, and we'll debrief honestly at the end. Ready?
Candidate
Ready.
Interview Assistant
Your resume says you led a migration to Cloud Run at your last company. Migrations rarely go smoothly — what broke?
Candidate
Cold starts, mostly. Our first request after idle was timing out because the container pulled config at startup.
Interview Assistant
Good, specific. How did you fix it — and how did you prove the fix worked rather than just assuming?
Candidate
We moved config loading out of the request path and set minimum instances to one. Then we, um, watched the dashboards.
Interview Assistant
"Watched the dashboards" is where an interviewer will push. Which metric, over what window, compared to what baseline? Take another run at that answer.
Candidate
Fair. We compared p95 latency on first requests before and after, over two weeks, and the timeout errors disappeared from the error logs.
Interview Assistant
Much stronger. Last one on this project: your resume says "reduced costs" — an interviewer will ask by how much and how you measured it. Do you have that number ready?
Candidate
Not precisely. I should pull the billing comparison before my real interview.
Interview Assistant
Do that — vague claims on a resume are the first thing good interviewers test. Quick debrief: your incident stories are concrete and honest, which is your biggest strength. Two things to fix: quantify every claim on the resume, and answer "how did you verify it" without being prompted. Want to run the behavioral round next?

Implementation

A pilot goes live in days: we need your job descriptions or interview rubrics, your branding, and a point of contact. We configure the assistant around your roles and interview style, you share the link with candidates or interviewers, and we review real conversations with you monthly.
